Roop Saini defends her Ph.D. dissertation

On September 6, 2012, Roop Saini defended her Ph.D. thesis - Regional Influence of Monsoons In The Current and A Warming Climate. Roop is the second student in the Department of Environmental, Earth and Atmospheric Sciences to receive her Ph.D. through the School of Marine Sciences. Roop's adviser was Dr. Mathew Barlow.

(r) Roop with Andrew Hoell, the first EEAS Ph.D. student. Andy returned to UML for Roop's defense. He is currently doing a Post-Doc at the University of California Santa Barbara.
