M2D2 SBIR/STTR Workshop - November 2, 2011

M2D2 is a Medical Device Innovation Hub between UMass Lowell and UMass Worcester.  M2D2 has a history of successfully helping entrepreneurs submit and receive SBIR and STTR grant funds from NIH.  Come learn about SBIR and STTR grant  opportunities from NIH for medical device development and learn about the things you need to know to apply. 

The session will feature Dr. Natalie Rudolph, from Rudolph Biomedical Consulting as a distinguished speaker.

Dr. Rudolph's familiarity with both corporate and academic research culture draws on more than 24 years of experience in the biotech and biomedical industries. She held scientific and management positions at two start-up biotechnology companies, where she helped to develop and support three lines of biomedical assay reagents, managed an intellectual property portfolio, and coordinated technology licenses and extramural research collaborations.  For the last 17 years, she has worked with small companies and research institutions to develop R&D project strategies and fund them through non-dilutive grants and contracts.
