Biology Minor?

| | Comments (0)

                Hello!

This weekend I actually made an important decision.  I decided to go for a minor in Biology.  As some of you may know, I was originally was a Biology major, but switched to Math during my sophomore year.  I love Math, but I started to miss Biology a little bit.  I am able to fit it in my schedule, so I figured I would go for it.  Plus, it looks good if I decide to go into a field like Bioinformatics.

My friends and I have also started talking about what we need for our apartment.  Even though we just started this process, it seems like we will be in pretty good shape.  We are bringing the necessities the first day, and then we will go shopping for the stuff we forgot or just donít have already.  Although there is still about five and a half weeks until we move in, it will go fast!

Thatís all for now!  Talk to you soon!

                Hello!

Well my week of fun has concluded.  My friendís beach house was as fun as I expected.  It is hard to mess up the combination of the beach, friends, 45ís, and much more.  (45ís is a card game by the way if you didnít know.)  It was great to just relax for a couple days with no responsibilities.  Visiting my friend in Connecticut was fun too.  We went to see the new Batman movie, which was very good by the way.  We also went to Mohegan Sun and walked around for a couple hours.  Even with all the driving I did, it was still a great week.

With everything I have done this summer, I have now realized that it is now late July.  Summer vacation is over half over and it is now time to start saving money and preparing for the new academic year.  Now letís see if I actually follow this plan.

Mid-July Update

                Hello!

This week hasnít been too exciting, but it is the calm before the storm.  I am actually taking 5 days off from work next week, from Wednesday to Sunday for a little vacation.  One of my friendís family rents a beach house in Seabrook for a week every summer, so Iím going to head up there for a couple days.  Them Iím going to head down to Connecticut to visit another friend for a night.  Iím really looking forward to next week.  I went to the beach house last year, and was the highlight of my summer.  Letís hope this year lives up to the expectations.

Unfortunately, I really donít have too much to say.  Since it is summer, I really donít have too much going on.  Basically working and hanging out with friends, nothing too interesting.  Things will pick up in a couple weeks actually.  I need to start preparing for my apartment for the Fall and for the upcoming academic year, but letís wait for August for that.

July Fourth

                Hello!

Well, the Fourth has come and gone.  Mine was actually pretty fun.  I went up to Hampton for the day with some friends.  It was really nice out so there were no problems with weather.  It was nice to just hang out at the beach for like ten hours.  It is something you donít get to do often.  We stayed for the fireworks at night, and those were fun too.  It was also kind of cool because there was a small thunderstorm as the fireworks were going off, so you could see lightning in the sky behind the fireworks.  Something that is unusual to see, but still awesome nonetheless.

This weekend, I will have a family cookout at my grandfatherís beach house in Maine.  I havenít seen them for a long time so itíll be nice to have a mini family reunion.  Iíll let you know how it goes!

Thatís all I have for now!  Talk to you soon!
