Itís finally spring! This weekendís weather was amazing! My friends and I spent the entire day on Saturday outside. We found out that students can rent out bikes at the rec center, so we went for like a 2 to 3 hour bike ride. We rode along the River Walk, which is naturally along the Merrimack River, and then we rode to a park. Then we just walked around downtown for the first time since fall, which was nice too. It was even better to be wearing shorts and a t-shirt! And on Monday is actually felt good to feel hot since it was almost 80 degrees in Lowell!
So today I realized that there are only 16 days of classes left for the semester. This just means the spring semester is coming to an end, which means 3 things. The first is that Easter is coming. Easter means family, food, and obviously candy. You canít go wrong with that combination! The second is that Spring Weekend is almost upon us. Iíll go more into that in the upcoming blogs. The third is that summer is approaching, but maybe I shouldnít get too far ahead of myself. I canít believe I am almost halfway through my undergraduate career!
Thatís all for now. Enjoy the long weekend this weekend!
Iím sorry I didnít write last week. I lost track between all of my exams. I had 3 exams and 2 quizzes in one week so it was pretty hectic. I did say I would talk about housing in this blog so here it goes.
The biggest difference for housing next year is that Bourgeois Hall, previously an all freshman residence hall, will now be for upper classmen. As far as I know, Fox Hall will now be all freshmen. So this means incoming freshman will be placed in either Leitch Hall or Fox Hall. Both are located on East Campus. As far as I know, this is the only difference. If you have any questions, look at the housing portion of the UML website. There are also videos showing each of the residence halls, which is great so you can see what the residence halls are like.
My friends and I are all going to retain our rooms at the ICC. We all just love the ICC so much. You canít argue with heat and air conditioning that you can control, plus large beds, an onsite dining hall, and living in downtown Lowell. Personally, I think it is the best residence hall on campus.
Thatís all for now! Since I shouldnít be too busy this week, I am going to try and write again soon.
