Hard work really pays off!

Hi guys,

I hope you guys are having fun.. I've been having a lot of fun here in Poland... People here are so nice and welcoming, I feel like at home..

Today I just want to share with you a newspaper article that ran in the Andover Townsman.. The article is about my capstone project... It's really nice to see that after working so hard to get this project done it really pays off that much effort and time that I spent getting it done...
What I liked the most when I read the article was to see a picture of one of the Bridgewell clients using my "Bubble Arm Ergometer"
My capstone project was a exercise machine for people with limited motor skills and attention span. It needed to have different features such as music, bubbles and colors in order to grab the attention of the user.

I'm attaching the link of the article so you guys can take a look at it...
I'l be back from my vacation next week.. I still have a lot of places to go see...

See you next week ;)

J’adore Paris

Hi guys,

As I promised on my previous blog I said I would keep you guys updated about my trip in Europe… so far I’ve had the best time of my life. I’ve been here for only 3 days and I’ve done a lot… I really love Europe… On Friday morning I landed in Brussels, Belgium. My boyfriend’s sister picked us up and later on that day we met up with my boyfriend’s friend who lives in Brussels..  At night we went to downtown, walked around the city, and had Belgium waffles… They’re yummy!!!!

This past weekend we spent it in Paris… What a lovely city.. My boyfriend and I couldn’t stop saying “WOW this is beautiful!”… We repeated “beautiful” over and over again… Paris is a very pretty city.. not only for the monuments but the streets and the architecture.. I enjoyed walking around and taking pictures… The best part of Paris is the Eiffel Tower.. It’s a beautiful structure and the view it’s priceless… I loved everything about Paris because it’s beautiful and the people are very nice!!! I’m looking forward to come back again and I hope it’d be soon… I’d loved to come here with my family next time…

The culture in Europe is not that different than what I imagined… to me it’s a mixed culture… what I mean is that it’s like the American and the Colombian cultures in some ways.. or at least Europe has reminded me both cultures… I hope you guys understand what I mean…    ;)

Couple more days in Belgium and then I’m going to Poland! I’m looking forward to it but I  want these days to go very slowwwww!!! All I want to say is that I love this trip so far…

Hello guys,

Today I want to start with this quote I recently found:

When preparing to travel, lay out all your clothes and all your money.  Then take half the clothes and twice the money.

What do you guys think??? I really loved it and I came across it for one reason... Tomorrow I will be going on vacation far away… I will be going out of the country for the first time since I moved from Colombia and I’m really excited…

I will be walking the European streets for the next two weeks… I’m really excited about this trip… Europe has been my dream place to go to visit and finally here I am, packing and getting ready for the big moment…

During my trip I’m planning to visit couple of European countries which are Belgium, France, maybe Germany or the Netherlands and finally Poland.  This trip is going to be unforgettable and I’m sure I will enjoy it a lot… During my trip I’m going to visit my boyfriend’s family in Poland, meet his friends, family and I’m even going to his cousin’s wedding… I’ve heard polish weddings are really crazy and fun… Lots of food and vodka! I’m really looking forward to it!

I’m just really happy that life has given me the opportunity to make this trip because traveling is a learning experience, especially for me since the European culture is very different than mine…

Now you guys can understand why I came across the above quote… as some of you may know I really like reading quotes because they are like an inspiration to me… This quote is very true and I need to apply it in order to have fun during my trip… Tonight when I’m finishing packing I will smile every time I remember these words….

You guys don’t worry because you will be hearing from me during my trip... I’m looking forward to update you guys with the latest news of this adventure…

Have fun!

Hot, hot, hot

Hi guys,

Here I am again.. It hasn't been too long since I wrote my last blog.. I just want to share what I did over the weekend... This is the first 4th of July I didn't go to Boston to see the fireworks.. Instead, I spent time with my family and we went to a BBQ in ours neighbor's house who kindly invited us for lunch to spent the afternoon with her.. It was a nice afternnon and it was very nice to share it with one of our neighbors. After the dinner I went to my boyfriend's family's house and jumped in the pool. Yesterday I did the same since it was very hot out... Jumping in the pool is a great way to cool down with the weather we had in the past two days.. now I'm really feeling the summer...

I will try to keep enjoing this weather over the week and I hope we have the same weather over the weekend sinde it's the World Cup Final.

I hope you guys too enjoy the rest of the week... I'll be back soon  ;-)

I like Sports!

Hey guys,

Sorry I've been kind of lost. I was very busy this week that I had no time to write my weekly entry. I started writing it on Thursday afternoon when I came back from the doctor but I never finished it because I was in pain and all I did was sleep until today. I thought I had saved my blog but I didn't so here I am writing from scratch.

Last Thursday I has a surgery, I go my wisdom teeth removed and I have been on pain killers since then. Those pills made me so dizzy that I've been sleeping since then. Today I feel much better but still with some pain. All I've done since I woke up is watching TV. I really enjoy watching sports. I just watched the 2010 Wimbledon Singles Final match. Serena Williams won her fourth Wimbledon match.. Isn't that amazing? The US should be very proud to have such a great tennis player. She played a good game and she really deserved to win. Later on or tomorrow, I'm not really sure, the male Men's Final is going to happen. I know is going to be between Nadal and Berdych. I'm pretty sure that's going to be a great game as well.

Also, I've been watching the World Cup;. Right now I'm watching the Argentina-Germany game. So far Germany had the lead.. let see who wins. I hope is a very exciting game like yesterday's game between Uruguay and Ghana.

I hope you guys enjoy this weekend and 4th of July. I'll be back soon to give you more updates. Thank you for reading!
